Return & Refund Policy

Scope

This policy applies to purchases of our product: Chaya — custom 3D-printed shadow lamps made from your photos. It explains our return and refund terms and how to reach us if something is wrong with your order.

All sales are final

Because every Chaya lamp is made to order from your photo, we do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, incorrect sizing/expectations, or reasons unrelated to a defect. Please review the product page carefully before ordering.

Exception: defective, damaged, or incorrect items

If your charm arrives defective, damaged in transit, or is not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will, at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the item. This exception cannot be waived and applies regardless of anything stated above.

How to report an issue

1. Email hello@chaya.example within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a description of the issue.
2. Include clear photos or a short video showing the defect or damage — this speeds up review considerably.
3. We will respond with next steps (repair, replacement, or refund) within a reasonable time, generally a few business days.

Refund processing

Approved refunds under the exception above are processed to the original payment method (UPI) within 7–14 business days of approval.

Order cancellation before shipping

If you need to cancel an order that has not yet shipped, contact us as soon as possible at hello@chaya.example. We'll do our best to accommodate cancellation requests before the item ships; once an order has shipped, the terms above apply.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) or other applicable law, including rights relating to defective or misrepresented goods. If you believe this policy conflicts with your statutory rights, contact us first at hello@chaya.example so we can resolve it directly.
